BRI Consulting Group, Inc. was incorporated in the State of Texas in 1993. The company is owned and managed by Mr. Keith R. McCarthy, a licensed Certified Public Accountant. Mr. McCarthy serves as President and Managing Director of the company. The company employs ten staff auditors and has contractual working arrangements with twenty-one consultants located throughout the United States, Canada, Brazil and Thailand who are responsible for performing engagements secured by BRI. Lead consultants are professional accountants possessing a minimum of ten years of experience; most have over twenty years.
Mr. McCarthy's primary responsibility is to ensure that assignments are performed in a thorough and consistent manner and that the client's needs are addressed. Additional responsibilities include client interface, staff scheduling and business development. The preparation and completion of the field work phase of the assignments along with report writing is the responsibility of the staff auditors. Final report review and delivery is the responsibility BRI’s management team.

The success of BRI is dependent upon the quality of the products that we deliver to our clients. The single most important ingredient in this formula is the qualified auditors that perform the audits.Keith R. McCarthy is the company's President. He holds an accounting and finance degree from the University of Texas and is a licensed CPA in the State of Texas. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and has served on the audit committee of the Council of Petroleum Accountants Society (COPAS) for the past twenty years.Before starting BRI in 1992, Mr. McCarthy was the controller of a privately held oil and gas company with responsibility for financial operations in the U.S. and overseas. He has held several management positions during his career giving him experience in most areas of oil and gas accounting. While at Felmont Oil, he was the General Accounting and Reporting Manager with responsibility for all auditing, property and reporting functions. Prior to working with Felmont, Mr. McCarthy worked with Newmont Oil Company, first as the International Supervisor and later as the Sr. Revenue Supervisor. Mr. McCarthy began his career with The Superior Oil Company working in the international and corporate accounting areas.
