Edward joined BRI Consulting Group in January of 2009 and currently serves as a Director with the company. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing all audit activities for both domestic and international projects. This includes leading and managing audits, reviewing and revising audit reports, managing client relationships, training new employees and contractors, developing audit programs and interfacing with new and existing clients.

Edward has over 30 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry and has held a number of Managerial positions with Energy companies in the Financial, Joint Venture and Auditing areas.

Before joining BRI, Edward’s work experience included managing various accounting departments including Joint Venture, Accounts Payable and Operational Accounting. During this 15-year period, he was an active member of PASH and COPAS.

Most recently Edward was a Senior Director at P2 Energy Solutions, focused on the strategic positioning of Oil & Gas Accounting and Operational Software solutions to the Oil & Gas sector. While at P2, he managed several of ERP software implementations and process transformation projects.

During his tenure at BRI, Edward has conducted both domestic and international audits. These activities included working with Clients to ensure their needs are addressed, scheduling and budgeting audits, preparing audit plans, performing data analysis, conducting the fieldwork and writing the audit report.

As part of the management team, Edward is responsible for managing multiple Client accounts. This includes direct Client interfacing as well as reviewing, editing and finalizing audit packages and reports. He is also responsible for handling audit responses, rebuttals and resolution.

In his capacity as Director, Edward has been instrumental in managing more complex, large dollar International audits ranging from $500 Million to over $2 Billion. Edward has worked in over 15 countries including but not limited to Oman, Bahrain, UAE, Qatar, Amman, Egypt, Israel, Azerbaijan, United Kingdom/Scotland, Thailand, Malaysia, Myanmar, Australia, and Trinidad.

He has worked to develop, maintain and improve audit programs for both the domestic and international areas. Edward is also responsible for recruiting, training and mentoring new employees and contractors.

Edward has a BBA in Finance from the University of Houston.
