Jerry joined BRI Consulting Group, Inc. in 2013 as a Junior Auditor after receiving his Master of Science in Accountancy from the University of Houston. During his seven years with BRI, he has participated in both domestic and international audit assignments including projects based in Canada, Mexico, Israel, Yemen, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, Trinidad, and the United Arab Emirates.

Domestic assignments have largely been focused in the energy industry and include working as both a lead and assist auditor. Jerry has participated in Joint Venture audits of Chevron, BP and other major oil and gas Operators doing business in the deep waters of the Gulf of Mexico and onshore shale plays in Pennsylvania and West Texas. Recently he participated in a Revenue audit of a large onshore shale project.

As a lead auditor, Jerry has conducted hundreds of Contract Compliance reviews involving most of the major service providers actively engaged in the oil and gas industry. These have included Halliburton, Weatherford, BJ Services, Schlumberger and many others.

Domestic duties have included scheduling, budgeting, data analysis, preparing audit programs, leading/managing both Contract Compliance and Joint Venture audits, report-writing and the preparation of the audit work papers. He has also been actively involved in the training and mentoring of new staff members.

International experience has included Joint Venture audits of major projects based off the coasts of Eastern Canada, Mexico and Israel along with onshore projects in Yemen. His Contract Compliance experience has consisted largely of work involving projects in Oman, Qatar, Trinidad and Bahrain.

Jerry has been instrumental in developing improvements and efficiencies to BRI’s processes to deliver exemplary results that exceed our clients’ expectations.

He is a Certified Public Accountant (Texas).
